My Approach
I believe therapy works best when it is grounded in trust, honesty, authenticity, compassion, and sometimes humour. The relationship we build together is one of the most important parts of the work. It is through feeling seen, understood, and supported that meaningful change can happen.
My role is not to tell you who to be or give you a formula for your life. You are the expert on your own experience. I bring curiosity, thoughtful questions, reflection, and perspective to help you better understand yourself and the challenges you’re facing.
I am trained in Gestalt therapy, an approach that focuses on the whole person: your emotions, thoughts, body, relationships, history, and the ways you navigate the world. We’ll pay attention to what is happening in the present moment while also exploring the patterns and experiences that influence how you relate to yourself and others.
I don’t believe in quick fixes. Therapy is a process of exploration, understanding, and growth. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
You might be in the right place if…
- You’ve been the one others rely on and are feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself.
- You’re navigating grief, a major life transition, relationship challenges, or a period of uncertainty.
- You want a space where you can be honest without needing to have everything figured out.
- You’re interested in understanding yourself more deeply and exploring patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
- You’re ready to reconnect with your needs, values, and sense of self.
We may not be the right fit if…
- You’re looking for quick fixes or someone to simply tell you what to do.
- You prefer a highly structured approach focused mainly on strategies and solutions.
